  1. There's not many organisms that are protista and invertebrates/vertebrates.

    Plantae is one of the kingdoms

    Plantae are similar to Protista(algae especially)

  4. 1. Most bacteria were classified under Monera, however, Cyanobacteria, were classified under plantae due to its ability to photosynthesize.
    2. Protista consists contains the cell type, protist, which also refer to organisms that do not fit into any of the categories(Kingdoms).
    3. Protist are not plants, animals or fungi, but they act enough like them that scientists believe that protists paved the way for evolution of early plants, animals and fungi.

  6. Learning points:
    1) Cyanobacteria was initially classified under plantae due to its ability to photosynthesize.
    2) Protists fall into 4 general subgroups which are unicellular algae, protozoa, slime molds and water molds.
    3) Protista contains the cell type called Protist which is not classified under any of the other categories(Kingdoms).

  8. 1) Monera can be reproduced by budding or binary fission.
    2) Most Protista are unicellular.
    3) Fungi do not photosynthesize

  9. - Cyanobacteria was first classified under Plantae due to its ability to photosynthesise, although it should have been classified under Monera.
    - Protista are eukaryotic, which mean they have a membrane bound nucleus.
    - Fungi breaks down dead organic materials.

    - Fungi can remove leaf litter and other debris that accumulate on the ground .
