Learnt Points : Protista are eukaryotes They are mainly unicellular cells
2 . Protists are eukaryolic ( DNA is enclosed in a Nucleus) and are not plants , animal or fungi. They are classified into different 4 groups: 1) Unicellular Algae 2)Protozoa 3)Slime Molds 4) Water Molds
3 . Inertebrates (Cnidaria) We did not include this in our slides. Cnidaria can be classified into 4 sub groups : Anthozoa (corals) , Cuboza (Box Jellies) , Hydrozoa( fire corals) , Scyphozoa ( true jellyfish)
1. Some invertebrate groups possess a hard, chitinous exoskeleton. 2. Invertebrate are multicellular. Its more being a colony of individual cells. The cells are working together for the survival of the organism. All the cells have specific duties and responsibilities. 3. Flatworms are invertebrate.
My learning points: ~1) Protista are eukaryotes which are mainly unicellular cells. Most of them are unable to fit into any of the other kingdoms. ~2) Most plants cannot grow without fungi. Fungi can casue many diseases. ~3) Fungi can also be preserved by amber
Learning Points: 1)Some invertebrate groups possess a hard, chitinous exoskeleton. 2)Due to the lack of complex skeletal systems, some invertebrates tend to be slow and small in nature. 3)Invertebrates are multicellular. The cells are working together for the survival of the organism and each cell has its specific duties and responsibilities.
Learning points: 1) Some invertebrates are slow and small due to their skeletons' structures. 2) Vertebrates are unisexual and only have one pair of genitals. 3) A notochord is present in all chordates.
- Invertebrates does not have skeletal system causing them to be slow and small. - Invertebrates are multicellular. -Vertebrates have a well developed brain.

DeletePorifera (sponges) - Do not have mouths
ReplyDeleteCnidaria - Cnidarians are incredibly diverse in form, and all of them are armed with stinging cells called nematocysts.
Arthropoda - They are also classified under: Crustacea (prawns), Myriapoda (centipedes), Arachnida (spiders), Insecta
